Viktor Dovhan, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine on European Integration since 2016, is a key figure in Ukrainian transport development. With extensive experience, including roles as TRACECA Secretary and Advisor to the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade and USAID, Dovhan is renowned for shaping the National Transport Strategy and fostering international partnerships for sustainable development across Europe.
Scope of work:
The main task was to promote the activities of the Deputy Minister and projects under his supervision (in maritime, rail and road, aviation sectors), including lobbying for draft laws until they are adopted, lobbying the ongoing national transport projects in the public and business sectors in order to attract the attention of investors and donors (European and Western) to the implementation of projects, as well as increasing the media appearance of the Deputy Minister in order to maximize publicity of his activities.
Achievements:
The main achievement was an adoption of the NTS 2030 in May 2018 by Ukrainian Parliament and adoption of several Draft Laws promoted within the strategy on a National Level.
As well as:
- Building a media presence from scratch and as a result — appearance in the top-national and international media channels, including popular TV channels;
- Taking a part in the series of the special TV projects and events
